Designing an event poster
he poster design evolved through a triptych of distinct directions. Early iterations leaned into literal representations - illustrating classic kit patterns (like Germany '90 and Croatia '98) and old CRT tellies with PlayStation controllers and Panini cards. The final design stripped away those detailed visual cues in favour of a clean, deconstructed graphic layout. Floating, abstract shirt shapes and graphic line work capture the essence of football kit design without distracting from the event typography.
